Birth Weights and Mortality and Morbidity

I would like to begin with the weight of the women and that there is a close relationship between maternal body-weight, and that of the infant. There is an international BMJ study published a few years ago giving credence to the babies birth weights and is a strong prediction of the mortality and morbidity, as is post birth in the first few months the optimum weight for a women and BMI are equally important. It that a healthy BMI should be between >20.8 and <30.0.
